RF performance test under actual operating conditions (network mode)
By using the MT8862A network mode and TRx radio characteristics, such as Tx power or modulation accuracy (EVM), measurements can be made using WLAN devices under actual operating conditions. There is no need to directly control the DUT and turn on the dedicated test mode to quantify the DUT RF performance under realistic load firmware conditions.
Simple measurement environment configuration
The MT8862A emulates a base station (AP) and workstation (STA) to establish a DUT network connection using IEEE802.11a/b/g/n/ac WLAN protocol. When a connection is established, a general WLAN communication program can be used without the need for special tools and control programs to measure the RF without the need to configure a special measurement environment.

With built-in frame capture logging, the MT8862A captures and saves frame capture logs to discover and handle DUT connectivity issues. Capture logs can be viewed in a *.pcap format using a supported application, which makes it easier to analyze DUT connection issues.
Use the connection verification test to transmit Internet Protocol data
Through the GUI's web browser, you don't have to worry about compatibility with the firmware version of the host. In addition, the MT8862A remote control port supports the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol client function. By connecting the PC controller and MT8862A to the same network, you can easily control the host and domain settings.
